Hey, gamers and comfort seekers! Have we got some exciting news for you! Here at beCosy, we're thrilled to announce our recent partnership with The Goose House (TGH), a top-notch UK-based esports community all about having a laugh, making friends, and of course gaming!
So, what does this mean for us cosy fans? BeCosy is now the official clothing brand of TGH! Together, we're on a mission to reinvent the meaning of merch because who says merch can’t be stylish, comfortable and sustainable all at once?
But hold onto your controllers! There's a backstory to this union.
Our parent company, Into The Breach (ITB), has teamed up with TGH, making Sam, the founder of ITB and beCosy, proud co-owner of this epic esports community. ITB is a UK based esports org with professional esports teams for games such as CS2, Rainbow 6 Siege, and Trackmania, they also have content creators who live stream a wide range of online games. TGH is not an org, it’s an online community, their main game of focus is VALORANT but are branching out into other areas of gaming such as League of Legends and Minecraft. They also have content creators and host regular gaming events in their community discord. It's a partnership made in gaming heaven, and we're super stoked to be part of it!
Just show me the merch!!!
Now, let's talk about the main event - the upcoming collection that's sure make waves in the goose pond (little goose joke for you there). For the last couple of months, the beCosy team has been working very closely with Dek, Dave, and Pyro over at TGH to come up with a new line of merch that is not only superb quality but also sports designs that you will want to wear in and out of the house – no more merch that is only worn for sleeping in!
We drew up some basic ideas and sent them over to the designer Tansy who we worked with previously on COSY CLUB. Immediately we fell in love with the artwork and after a few tweaks we had our final 3 designs. Now while I don’t have any sneak previews for you yet I can tell you that the designs will be embroidered, yes you heard that right EMBROIDERED!!! Over the next few weeks we will be posting the designs on our socials so make sure to follow along @becosyfashion on all socials.
The collection will consist of one sweatshirt design available in black and PINK, and two t-shirts, one light blue and one white, each with a unique design. Whether you're diving into a gaming marathon or just chilling out, these pieces are sure to become your new favourites.
You spoke, we listened.
We joined forces with TGH at the end of 2023, we showed off our COSY CLUB collection and while you loved it, some of you felt that it wasn’t quite right for you.
Inclusive Sizing: The Truth of the matter is, we are a very small business, our clothes aren’t made to order and there are minimum order quantities we have to adhere to. This makes having inclusive sizing quite costly for us. For this collection we have found an alternative, UK based, supplier that offer smaller minimum order quantities while still providing us with sustainable and ethical choices. This has allowed us to extend our range to sizes 5XL (previously 2XL for COSY CLUB).
Price Point: For this collection we have opted for more cost-effective fabric for this collection while still remaining high quality and sustainable. The tees are 100% GOTS Organic Cotton Compact Spun and the sweatshirts are 85% Organic ring spun combed cotton and 15% recycled polyester. These savings are being transferred directly to you, so you can save your pennies for the latest game releases.
So when can I cop?
For this drop we are embarking on a journey to sunny sunny Birmingham, England the home of Insomnia the gaming festival which will become the host of our TGH merch launch party running from March 29th to 31st. There will also be a small amount available to preorder online for those who can’t make it to the event that will be shipped early May.
