BeCosy Announced as the Second Sponsor for Cosy Coops OW2 Tournament Raising Money for Gamers Beat Cancer

This June, beCosy is sponsoring Cosy Coops charity Overwatch 2 tournament, raising money for Gamers Beat Cancer. We are supplying second place prizes and a giveaway item to help incentivise sign-ups and donations.

The 3v3 tournament begins on 08/06 with online group stages, followed by online qualifiers the following week, and the finals the week after. The finals are an in-person LAN event with travel covered by Cosy Coop, which has created a lot of hype around the tournament. If LAN finals isn't exciting enough, check out the prizes: the first place prize is 3 AOC gaming monitors provided by SCAN, and the second place prize is 3 £65 beCosy vouchers (enough to get our amazing ultimate onesie). There will also be one of each prize drawn in a raffle during the finals, so everyone, even those who don’t game, can get involved and win some prizes.

All money raised from sign-ups, donations, and raffle tickets will go to Gamers Beat Cancer: a registered UK charity that provides support for people of all ages, backgrounds, and types of cancer to manage the mental toll of their cancer journey. They also offer support for families and caregivers, helping them learn and heal through the gaming world.

Being embedded in the gaming world, beCosy knows the power of not only the enjoyment in playing games but the gaming community too. Gaming allows people of all ages, nationalities, and backgrounds to come together and share their passion. Once we saw the work that Gamers Beat Cancer were doing, we knew we had to get involved, and hey, what’s a cosy tournament without some cosy clothes to go with it?

Sign-ups for the tournament close at midnight on 06/06. Other ways to get involved include purchasing a raffle ticket, following along on Twitter, and watching the charity stream complete with live broadcasts of the finals and other fundraising activities on Twitch.
